What a Fun Week!

The children have all had a busy week learning all about Robert Burns and the Lunar New Year. We had a super day of activities on Wednesday with Primary 3 where the children all had a lovely time taking part in the Burns related activities. Some of the highlights of the day included Haggis Hurling, Poetry, Singing, Dancing, Storytelling and Traditional Scottish Food Tasting. A real highlight was the Haggis Hurling competition with the winning distance reaching over 12 metres! As part of the Lunar celebration the children have created fact files and have taken part in art activities where they produced lovely lanterns.
