A short week in P1 but we still had loads of fun 🤩 We are getting good at telling the o’ clock time 🕰️ and have practised writing the time. We found a fun game to play on the board – matching the digital time to the analogue time.
We revised the “ai” sound and made aeroplanes! They were super fun to throw and some went really far! ✈️ Our new double phonic sound was “oa” which we will continue with next week.
Our book of the week was “Oi Frog!” 🐸 We thought the rhymes were funny! We came up our own words that rhyme with frog and made pictures of frogs on: logs, bogs, dogs, cogs and hogs!
We sang and moved to lots of songs and music 🎶 and came upon a very silly 🙃 song where we had to put our; thumbs up, knees together, bottoms up, tongues out, eyes closed and then turn around! We laughed so much!
It was a super wee week. Thank you children for making me lots of sand ⏳birthday cakes 🎂 and singing me Happy Birthday today. it made my day very special! 🥰
