Happy Friday,
This week in Literacy/IDL we’ve been learning about the brain and expressing our thoughts and emotions. In Phonics the P2’s learned the alternative ow sound- clown and the P3’s learned how to add ed to a verb- paint/ed.
In mental maths we’ve been counting in 100’s. In Numeracy we’ve continued to learn about place value and partition thousands, hundreds, tens and ones using practical and mental strategies.
On Thursday we enjoyed sharing our library visit with our P4 reading buddies. Today we took part in Inter Sports with the P7 house captains and held a rights respecting meeting in class. This week’s makaton signs have been; happy and white.
