Congratulations to EVERYONE for achieving ‘Writers of the Week’. This week’s ‘Mathematician of the Week’ is Dylan. Well done to Aaron for achieving the ‘Star of the Week’ award.
This week in IDL Our Ancient World, we have been learning about Nessie and Loch Ness. In writing we wrote imaginative Nessie stories. In Grammar we have been learning about apostrophe’s and contractions (it is – it’s and we are – we’re).
In Mental Maths we have been solving multiplication problems. In Numeracy we have been learning about Data Handling; tally marks, pictograms, bar charts and venn diagrams.
This week we have been singing and signing the makaton song- This is my fight song.
Thank you families for attending sports day. It was a fantastic sporty morning. What a beautiful sunny morning we all had. Well done to everyone who took part!
