Child Smile are taking part in a new programme called ‘Recycle and Smile Process’.
They are replacing the toothbrush buses with caddy-type stands. These will be delivered to us by Child Smile in due course. As part of this new recycling programme, our ELC staff are holding onto all used toothbrushes once they are replaced with new ones and also the used toothpaste tubes. Child Smile will then pick these up and a local contractor will take them to recycle them into things such as vehicle parts, garden planters and playground equipment.
There is a poster on the main door to ELC which you can see from outside. Please have a look at this wonderful idea! 🙂
