What a heat it has been this week! 🌞🥵 on that note, can parents please please please ensure that children come to nursery with sun cream and a sun hat 🙏
We have been loving playing outside this week and even listening to the thunder too 🌩 we have been playing in the water and splashing in it 💦, washing our bikes and cars 🚲🚗, trying to get bubbles through hoops 🫧 and thoroughly enjoying some gooey ooblec which one little man explained that “ooblec is both a solid and a liquid” 👨🔬
Some of the children demonstrated wonderful problem solving in order to engineer different models: we had ramps and tunnels where the children worked together as a team to create a course for balls to go down; we had one little toot who wanted to build a train track from the table down to the floor – he demonstrated great problem solving when figuring out what he could use to support his track going downwards 🛠💡
