Happy Friday P2/3,
Well done P2/3 for coming first in the whole school running race. We achieved an incredible 165 laps within 25 minutes! Amazing, I’m so proud of you all! So we received an extra 15 minutes of lunch time today.
Congratulations to Jaxson, Eve and Jacob for achieving ‘Writers of the Week’. This week’s ‘Mathematician of the Week’ is Aleah. Well done to everyone for achieving the ‘Star of the Week’ award for an outstanding creative Roman Construction Day.
This week in IDL Our Ancient World, we have been learning about the Roman Architecture. In writing we wrote a letter to our new teachers. In Mental Maths we have been sequencing numbers. In Numeracy we have been learning about division and sharing into equal groups.
This week we have been singing and signing the makaton song- The Lion King.
Well done to everyone who took part in our class audition for Inshes Has Talent. The winning acts to go through to the final are; Chayah and Emily (gymnastics) and Eve (drawing).
This afternoon we enjoyed watching the Staff Vs Pupils football match. It was great fun. Well done everyone.
Photographs- Over the last two weeks we have been making Roman and Nessie IDL Art work, these have been filed inside the P1 – P7 transition Art folder. Each academic year, two pieces of Art work will be collected and at the end of P7 the folders will go home.
Only one more week left of P2/3. It’s going to be a happy and emotional week next week full of goodbyes and good luck. Have a nice weekend. Mrs Meade
