Happy Friday P1 🙂 What a short but busy week we’ve all had.
Literacy
In Phonics we revisited the s, a, t, i, n and p sounds. We have continued to introduce blending two and three letter sounds together; for example; i-t and s-a-t.
Numeracy
This week for Numeracy we learned the number 13, 14 and 15. We have been focusing on identifying numerals and finding one more than any given number up to 15.
Other Areas of Learning
In Art we have continued the self portrait theme and made three dimensional loose part portraits using beads, buttons, wool, pasta, and much more. In P.E we’ve continued focusing on movement and team games. Everyone enjoyed the Steggy Diary and Show and Tell box today.
Additional Information
Reading tubs will be sent home today. Many thanks for the junk model butter and yogurt tub donations. We home that you enjoy sharing these with an adult. Keep them in a safe place because we’ll be adding more resources throughout the year. Have fun reading.
