It’s been a busy first week back with settling the children back into the nursery routine and welcoming our new little ducklings too!
We enjoyed some parachute time in the gym hall at the start of the week, playing lots of games and singing rhymes. A favourite was ‘1,2,3,4,5…Once I caught a fish alive’. The children were catching fish for different people’s dinner!
During outdoor play, some of the children began collecting leaves from the ground to make pictures with. We are going to explore these next week. One child said “it’s so pretty”. We saw lots of pretty colours on the leaves.,
Indoors, we enjoyed soft play, where the children developed their gross motor skills by climbing and jumping. They learnt to share space and develop their social and cooperative skills with each other.
