Before the holidays, we were learning how to write an informative recount. This week we have been using our skills to write a recount of our October holidays.
In maths, we finished off our work on measure. For homework next week we are going to be practising estimating, measuring and using rulers correctly. We also enjoyed some choral counting this week, with lots of us spotting some interesting patterns.
As part of our rights respecting schools work, we are going to be focusing on one right a month which will be introduced at assembly. This month our focus is article 31. Can you remember what it is? ‘I have a right to play and relax.’
We are very excited to be visiting the Botanic Gardens tomorrow. We also hoping to go to Whin Park if the weather is good enough. Please remember to bring your own packed lunch if you did not order one on Friday from the canteen.
