Next week is Book week Scotland. As part of our celebrations and learning, we are running a book swap for both adults and children. Please donate your pre-loved books by either sending them into school with children this Friday the 10th of November (we will have a box in the foyer) or by bringing a book along to the community cafe on Wednesday the 15th of November to swap. Books will be available all week for everyone so please come and choose something new to read. We want to promote a love of reading so please come and choose a book even if you haven’t managed to donate 😀
We would also like to invite you (parents and family members) to come and read a story to your child’s class during book week. We have a fabulous teepee set up in our small playground providing a magical cozy space for classes to gather with special visitors and stories. Please contact the school office if you can spare any time to do this.
