Firstly a huge thank you to all the parents that managed to attend our Open Afternoons. It was lovely to welcome you into our room to get a wee taste of what it is like in P1. Hopefully all the children’s beautiful crafts from this week made it home in their bags today🌲🙂
No new sounds have been introduced this week. We have just revised the ones previously taught and continued to work on our blending. We have continued to have a new Christmas story each day. Today we read the first part of the ‘The Jolly Postman’.
On Wednesday we welcomed Eden Court into the school for a fun festive workshop. The children really enjoyed it. 🌲
Today the P1s took part in their first House Team competition. It was dodgeball. This was orgnasied by the P7s and Matthew from Active Schools.
We have been rehersing hard for the Twinkly Nativty. Tickets will be issued at the start of next week for the show.
We have loved having Miss Gallagher as part of our P1 team over the last 6 weeks. Today we thanked her and wished her well for her next placement!
