We have lots of highlights from this week!
◦ We wrote our letters to our families and made a card for them too.
◦ We posted our letters at the local post box! What excitement they gained from a seemingly simple activity! Thank you to our parent volunteers for helping to make this trip safe and fun!
◦ The P2s have been practising their class song which is very long! Well done to them for learning the words and keeping up the energy for 12 verses! 🥵
◦ The P1s performed their Twinkly Nativity ⭐️👼at a dress rehearsal in front of the whole school! Wow P1 – you impressed all the staff and children!
◦ On Thursday, we had our Christmas lunch which was delicious! The children enjoyed their turkey dinners or packed lunches. The hall had a lovely ambience with Christmas tunes as the teachers served the children at their tables! I had the veggie option which tasted phenomenal! 😋We give 10/10 to our canteen staff! 🤩
◦ We did some Cosmic Yoga 🧘♂️ in class on Thursday afternoon to relax and chill after such a busy day!
◦ On Friday, the P1s had a well earned break from nativity practice and spent time doing phonics, blending and reading as well as number assessments with me.
◦ On Friday afternoon it was time for the P2 Christmas Party! We had a VIP visit from…Santa! Santa came to deliver a gift to each child and he stayed for a drink and some snacks! He also judged our best dancer 💃 🕺competition! River and Leo had the honour of helping Santa give out the presents and ring the bell! They both showed incredible patience as they received their presents 🎁 after everyone else. Well done to you both👏 All children got a chance to chat with Santa during the party!
