Welcome back everybody and a Happy New Year! We had a lovely week in P3/4LM and enjoyed seeing each other after the holidays.
During circle time we had a chance to share our news and also talk about how we are feeling now we are back at school. We rated our feelings on a scale of 1-5 and explained why. As a class, we then talked about things that we are looking forward to and things we might feel a little worried about.
Last term we started having our daily monitors lead reflective time. They have the important role of leading the class discussion each day and asking questions to the class. We use this time to talk about things we think have gone well and things we would like to improve. Mrs Leakey and Mrs Macrae are both so impressed with how responsible the daily monitors have been and this has allowed us to have some really useful discussions. Well done everyone! đŸ˜€
In maths this week, we learned some new games. So far we think ‘Race to 50’ has been our favourite. On Thursday, we had to teach the new games to Mrs Macrae. She was amazed at how well we managed to explain the instructions. Super work!
