What a fun day we have had in Primary 1 today. P7 organised some great sporting activites outside for the P1s this morning. There was football, obstacles courses, basketball and running. Thank you for the donations given.
After break we learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly. We then talked about symmetry and linked this in with butterflies. We looked at shapes and pictures that had been cut in half and had to find the symmetrical other half. Look at the amazing butterflies we made. We then also got the paint out and have started to make our own butterflies from paint. Once the paint dries we will cut them out. Messy buisness
To continue fun Friday we spent the afternoon in the little playground with our friends from P1/2 and P2. ( pictures in a separate post)
