Another fun filled week in P1. The weeks are whizzing this term
It was lovely to welcome so many parents into the school over the last 2 days. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.😍
This week we have been practising hard for sports day. The children have been having to work in their house teams in prep for the big day. On Wednesday 15th we will be having a practise with the other classes.
In literacy we introduced the sound qu. We have also been looking at the formation of c and a. In pairs today we were practising reading and writing our tricky words.
In maths we have been looking at money. We have been trying to recognise the coins 1p 2p 5p 10p and 20p. Talking a lot about the size, shape and colour of each coin. We have also been making amounts using the coins. 😀
