The children enjoyed seeing their families at our Open Afternoons this week! They enjoyed the Rights Respecting scavenger hunt, showing you their work and art and making Goldie the Globes! For those of you that were able to attend, we hope you enjoyed the afternoon and had fun playing football, basketball or going on the adventure trail!
All the children got a chance to go on the hunt with members of staff and make their own Goldies too!
This week we have been learning about money. Identifying the coins, counting coins and some of us have managed to make totals in different ways e.g. 5p can be five 1ps or two 2 ps and a 1p etc. we have also been revisiting addition and looking at the number line method.
We have been reading, practising double sounds and spelling our common and tricky words.
We are really excited about Sports Day in two weeks time. So we’ve been practising running races in our House Teams.
At our assembly on Friday, Jackson and Zac were given the star of the week awards. Last week Ada was given the Star certificate. Well done to all of our stars! 🌟
