What’s been happening in Nursery recently?

We have been very busy bees recently. Many of the children have been very interested in all the bugs and insects found all around the setting. Exploring this interest we carried out a mini bug survey where the children hunted for specific bugs and ticked them off on the chart demonstrating excellent team work and observation skills, as well as building early maths skills within data handling.

Children have also made some wonderful models of insects using plasticine. What fabulous creativity and imagination.

We have been enjoying checking our bikes and helmets for safety recently. The children created a car wash to look after the vehicles in the nursery garden.

We have enjoyed exploring the outdoor area in all weathers recently. Look at some of our explorers investigating sound, nature and creating with loose parts.
