What a fantastic visit we had today from Zac’s dad Colin and his team! What a fun way to spend the morning learning about Fire Fighters and what they do and wear. We learned about the different jobs they do and about the safety gear they wear. We got to ask lots of questions like, “How many calls do you get a year?” and, “Do you drink tea?” Colin and the firefighters were great at answering all our questions. We learned so much!
Then we got to go outside to see the Fire Engine! Everybody got a shot of the hose! The children were so good at aiming and waiting for their turn! Next we got to go inside the fire engine and then we got to see and learn about all the equipment!
What a brilliant learning experience. Thank you Colin and the rest of the team! ☺️
We took lots of photos which we’ll upload soon but here are some to start with.
