Our highlights for this week were creating our Egyptian scarab beetles and doing sudoku in our numeracy lessons.
In our topic we have been learning more about Ancient Egypt. We looked at how the pyramids were made and learned about the hieroglyphics that we created last week. Then we created our own scarab beetle choosing to either using paint, crayon, pen or pencil to complete it.
In numeracy we continued our work on place value looking at the number before and after with some working on 3 digit numbers. We also learned how to do a sudoku with pictures then using numbers 1-4.
