During our maths lessons we looked at splitting numbers into ones and tens and also measured each other using string and a tape measure. We will look at our measurements again at the end of the year to see how much the children have grown.
This week we also used our measuring skills to understand how big the largest dinosaur was. We worked together to find that all of us together only made up about half the size of the Supersaurus!
We also began our recount writing by learning about the importance of writing about events in the order they happened. We used our new knowledge to write about a game we played in class.
I hope everyone has a great September holiday and I look forward to hearing what everyone has been up to when we return on Wednesday.
