Here’s a short video that recaps the sounds we’ve learnt so far: l, s, a, t, p, i and n.
The video also explains what blending is and how we teach this in school. You can practise this at home by sounding out words and getting your child to work out what the word is that you’re saying or encouraging them to read words that contain the sounds that we’ve learnt so far.
