This week we discussed the origins of Bonfire night and how to be safe if we were out watching the fireworks.
In numeracy we have started subtraction and are using the link with addition to help us with fact families.
eg. 12+9=21 so 9+12=21…so 21-9=12 and 21-12=9
We have also used the word ‘christmas’ this week as we created our own version of the penguin design for our Christmas card
In PE we started jumps- we did the frog, pencil and star jumps. In team games today some of the P3s from P2/3 joined us and we enjoyed learning a new game ‘time bomb’.
