Just a reminder about the short letter that went out on Thursday last week (copied below). We would be very grateful for any additional resources that can be brought in from home that would typically go into the recycling bins.
We will be doing some work in maths (starting next week – Monday 11th November) on 2D and 3D shapes and combining this with our play related to junk modelling. Any materials you can provide to support this would be greatly appreciated – we need lots! The usual materials like cereal boxes, yoghurt pots etc. that people are bringing in are great.
We are particularly short of: cylindrical shapes of a range of sizes (examples might include large or small tubes of smarties, dairylea slice multipack containers, pringles tubes, kitchen roll tubes), smaller cube and cuboid shapes (e.g. tissue boxes, biscuit tins, light bulb containers), anything with a triangular or spherical shape.
Many thanks,
P1 Team
