Another week full of learning in P2. We looked at the sh, ch and wh digraphs and used these to help us write imaginative superhero stories.
We also explored what it means to have a growth mindset attitude to our learning and thought about the importance of the word yet when we think about what we can’t yet do.
In our maths we started exploring patterns. We had a go at making some patterns using shapes, beads and things we could find around the classroom. We then used our pattern knowledge to create beautiful snakes.
We had a fabulous end to our week with a brilliant performance of Aladdin. There was lots of singing and laughing and the children were keen to ask the performers questions at the end.
