Hello everyone,
We are looking forward to seeing you either tomorrow or Friday to celebrate Scottish Book Week! The children are excited to share some of their learning, show you around the classroom and take you to the Community Cafe in the hall!
We have split the afternoons over two days so that you can spend time with your child and have the space to do that. Those with surnames beginning with M to Z are invited to attend on Wednesday and those with surnames A to L are invited on Friday.
When in class, the children will show you their blue folder then we would like you to join them in an activity to help spread kindness on a new display in school. We will also have the brand new Bookbug bags to give out so that you can look through the goodies inside and even share a book in class or in the cafe. You will get a booklet that tells you about our Open Afternoon and the things you can do. We suggest that if the class gets a bit busy that you can take your child along to the cafe in the hall.
There will be drinks and baking for sale to help raise money for the P7 residential trip. You are welcome to sit, relax and share a book. Inshes Library have given us some books that focus on Hope (the theme of Scottish Book Week) and cultures from around the world. We hope you enjoy the selection! 🌍🌏🌎
The doors open at 1:30pm. We look forward to seeing you on either day.
