P2 have been working hard to learn the words to our new Christmas songs. A copy of the words has been sent home. Unfortunately we can’t share the soundtrack, but if you are able to quickly go over the words at any point before next Friday that would be fantastic. We will be performing “No Room At The Inn” on Monday for grandparents and senior citizens. We will also be performing this song and “This Christmas Time” at the church on Friday.
This week we started our high quality assessments. This has involved following instructions to make a smoothie and using our time connectives and description bubble to write about the experience. The children’s writing will be sent home next week with a comment about their views on their learning. It would be fantastic if these could be returned with a comment from families about what the children can share about their learning.
This week we have started learning about blends. We explored blends using l, like pl bl, gl and sl. We have also looked at using number lines to help us add and subtract.
