The class have started learning about time – analogue and digital. We have revised o’clock, half past, quarter past, quarter to and are looking at 5 minute intervals too.
In writing the focus is on using a range of writing techniques, including varied punctuation, adjectives, adverbs, metaphors/similes as well as building drama before reaching resolution. The narrative writing involves lots of features and the class are building their skills at present.
In science we are learning about biodiversity and food chains. We have started consolidating knowledge around some basic food chains and will develop understand by learning about food webs.
The class are enjoying the weekly swimming lessons as well as the athletics with the Millburn P.E teacher.
