School Trip

On Thursday we went to Thorabella Farm. We saw the buffalos. We learned that they produce milk. They all had a name like Skye, Eros, Psycho, Susan and crazy Annie to name a few. The bull was around 800kg. If we took the meat of the bull it would feed a family of four for a year.

We saw how people take milk from cows in the modern day with machinery.

We were able to touch some of the animals, like lambs, a baby goat and a baby rabbit. The lamb felt like touching pompoms.

We got to feed the animals but not by hand, we put the food in a tube that went into the area where the animals were.

It was roasting and a bit smelly but overall it was a very good trip and we had lots of fun 🙂
