Today’s assembly was all about Dignity! Our fantastic Rights Respecting Ambassadors did a brilliant job helping everyone understand what dignity means and why it matters. We were also joined by Mr Scott from Inshes Church, who shared his thoughts on dignity with us too.
The children in both assemblies were absolute superstars, listening so well, answering questions thoughtfully, and contributing with enthusiasm!
We explored how dignity means knowing that you matter and are valued for who you are. It’s about being treated with respect and kindness, just like we show through our school values, KRIB!
We also thought about our Duty Bearers. They are the adults at Inshes who work hard every day to help children enjoy their rights and feel seen, safe, and supported. It was lovely to hear comments from some of them about why they chose to work with children. It was lovely to hear some comments from children about why their Duty Bearers make them feel they matter!
We ended with a celebration of our achievements — the Star Awards, Goldie Rights Respecting Awards, and of course, a rousing performance of our KRIB chant! Please take a look at our slides from the morning.
Thank you Inshes TEAM! We wish all our families and staff a happy weekend! 🙂
