With only one more sleep until the end of Primary 2 we would like to wish everyone a wonderful summer holiday. Thank you for all your hard work in P2, it has been an absolute pleasure to teach you all.
Today Mrs Meade, Miss Graham and Miss Jacobs sent home a letter about a task we would like the P3 pupils to take part in over the summer break. Please see below for details.
Happy Holidays from Mrs Meade and Miss Mudie
FYI –
To parents and carers,
We would like to welcome the children into Primary 3 with some talking and listening activities about their summer break. Over the holidays please gather together some items that remind you of the summer. You might like to keep these inside a shoebox or large cereal box. These may include:
- A pine cone from a forest walk
- Bus/train/ferry ticket from a trip into Inverness or further afield
- A postcard from a holiday
- A shell from a trip to the beach
- Tickets/leaflets/brochures from a day out
- A pressed flower or leaf from your garden or local park
You may also like to include the following:
- A family photograph taken during the summer
- A drawing of your favourite day out or activity
Mrs Meade and Miss Graham will be taking part too and we can’t wait to share our summer news with you all. Please bring your named shoebox/cereal box into school on the first day of term. Don’t worry if you forget, it’s going to be a long six weeks after all, so we’ll pop a gentle reminder out on the first few days of P3.
We wish you a wonderful summer holiday. We hope you enjoy making special family memories and the weather is kind to us all. We can’t wait to begin our P3 adventure together 🙂
