It’s almost time to celebrate World Book Day!
This year we are celebrating WBD on Friday March 6th. A huge thank you to Miss McDiarmid and the house/vice captain team for organising this exciting event for us.
The children are invited to come to school dressed as they please – this means they can dress down, dress up based on a character or story, or come to school with a prop from a favourite book.
We will celebrate with:
- Whole-school assembly led by the House Captains
- “Masked Reader” competition
- World Book Day tokens
- Resource packs in classes
- Book-themed school-wide scavenger hunt
- High interest online WBD events
Happy World Book Day 2026😊
