Congratulations to our team – Finlay, Iona and Noah – who took part in the Primary Enterprising Maths Challenge in Dingwall, on Tuesday. Throughout the day there were various maths challenges, with the emphasis on working together, mathematical thinking skills and enjoyment.
The children thought it was fun and enjoyed making the poster – Patterns in Maths. Another challenge was to answer 30 questions in 15 minutes. As the team finished this early, they had time to check their answers. For the head to head challenges they played 6 rounds against different people. A great day was had by all, with an excellent 2nd place.
