Term 1 Week 6 Writing
The children have worked hard this week to write orientation paragraphs using the 5 W’s and produced some super pieces which they were very proud of see below, well done everyone have a lovely weekend, Mrs Scobbie.
Term 1 Week 6 River Nile
This week the children have been looking at maps identifying continents, countries and landscapes. We have been exploring the Egyptians and learning lots about the importance of the River Nile through our fact hunt! Have a lovely weekend, Mrs Scobbie.
Term 1 Week 4 Problem Solvers!
This week the children have worked in small groups using there numeracy knowledge, particularly repeated addition and subtraction to solve maths problems. The children kept on trying and revisiting the problem and these skills helped the children solve the problems successfully. The children enjoyed taking part in these problem solving activities, see examples below!
