The children worked very well on a joint project to build a lifesize replica of a Viking longship out of Kapla. The children were surprised by how long the model was and this wasn’t even the longest ship which measured a MASSIVE 30 metres! Our longship was 20 metres, see some pictures below.

The children have been exploring fractions this week during our maths lessons. They have been learning all about what a fraction is, how to write simple fractions, the role of the numerator and denominator and how to compare fractions. We have had a very busy term.
