Millburn Ceilidh

On Monday, we were down at Millburn for our ceilidh. It was good fun meeting new people and also seeing ones we had met at our last transition event.

Millburn Ceilidh

Please remember that we are going to Millburn on Monday morning for the next transition event. We will be travelling there and back by bus. A packed lunch will be needed, as we won’t be back to school till about 1.15 pm. Millburn have also asked that you wear your Inshes school jumpers.

Scottish Day

Thank you to everyone who came to our ceilidh last night. We did lots of dancing, which was tiring, but good fun. Today, we did Scottish activities in each class and had a ceilidh in the hall in the afternoon. The sports leaders organised curling and kinball in the hall this morning.

Author visit

Yesterday, Corrina Campbell visited the school to tell us more about her life as an author and illustrator. It was interesting to hear where she got her ideas for her books from. Our favourite part was when she taught us how to draw a bear and a person.

Christmas cards

This week, we started Christmas early!! We had to make our own card designs for our Christmas cards. The pictures below show all our hard work. We took our time and the finished pictures look great. They will be coming home to order next week.

Japan weather and climate

Yesterday we were finding out about climate and weather in Japan and comparing it to Scotland. We wrote down our facts on a table. An interesting fact – The rainy season is during the summer.
