Sphero

Today Ana came from the UHI to teach us about coding. We had to program mini spheros.  It was great fun, and we all managed to get the spheros to move in different ways.

Bake sale

Disc Golf

Today, Lloyd gave us an introduction to disc golf. It was good fun, although throwing the disc forehand was hard. There were other different ways to throw. Some of us are going to try playing it at Inshes Park.

Rationing

On Monday, we made vegetable soup to show that meals could be made from foods that weren’t rationed. The soup making was fun and exciting. I did it with Jamie, Alexander and Bailey. Adapting

We also looked at the skill of adapting. Sometimes, we have to change the strategies we are using. Doing the Tower of Shoes Challenge and the Stacking Cup Challenge showed us this.

Bake Sale

Thank you to everyone who took in baking for our bake sale today. It was so popular, we sold it all, raising a further £311.59 for our Badaguish trip. Some photos are below.

Millburn Visit

This morning, we went to Millburn. We went to Tech to learn how to make a pencil holder.  We used plastic, a drill for making holes, wet and dry sandpaper, the sanding belt and a strip heater.  Then we got a tour of the school.We all enjoyed our morning.
