This week, P6 learned about the introduction of the railways during the Victorian era. They were tasked with researching the positive and negative attitudes towards these at the time and this lead to a whole class debate! The children were excellent at using persuasive language to get their arguments across.

Welcome to Starbooks
P6 had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day! The classroom was transformed into ‘Starbooks’ – a reading cafe where the children could sample new books. The cafe wouldn’t have been complete without some sweet treats! 🍪

Burns Day ‘Bake Off’ !
P6 had a fabulous day celebrating the life and work of Robert Burns. The highlight of our day was the ‘Burns Bake Off’ – P6 were challenged to create shortbread, with their own design. Bonus points were awarded to those who kept with the Scottish theme!
