What a busy week we’ve had in P4!
In numeracy we are practising our times tables through skip counting, repeated addition and ICT games as well as answering word problems. Pupils have identified which times they need to work on and any opportunities to practise at home would be beneficial.The writing focus for the next few weeks is descriptive writing – today the class described a haggis using texture, colour, size, position, shape, number, doing. It’s great to see an increased use of adjectives, adverbs, similes and metaphors!
Our IDL (Interdisciplinary Learning) this term is ‘The Romans’ and the class is enjoying learning lots of new facts.
Everyone is having fun increasing their tennis skills in P.E and developing drama skills with Miss Strath.
