We had a busy week. In Maths we’ve been working on time: telling the time, 12hrs and 24hrs, calculating time intervals, reading the time.
In IDL P4s learned about the Romans, we made a time line, learned about the army, we created our own shields and labelled a Roman soldier’s uniform. The P5s learned about Mary Queen of Scots, a part of history full of treason, murder, adventure and passion. We made a time line and looked at her family tree, we created a poster about Mary Queen of Scots with lots of interesting facts.
In PE this week we played badminton and soft tennis. We’ve been working hard on our gross and fine motor skills in keeping the ball up with the racquet, demonstrating eye/hand and eye/foot co-ordination and striking the shuttle with the racquet towards our partner.
We had so much fun 😀
