It was very exciting to be back! We leapt back in to learning and wrote about what we did in the holidays.
We practised our spelling and we all took part in reading groups and completing a follow up task too. 📕
In maths this week we have focused on money, learning to identify all the coins 🪙 we have been playing shops and using real money to buy certain things.
We created beautiful pieces of working linking to our topic of “Things that Grow (Lifecycles) . We recorded what we already knew, what we want to learn and how we could gain that knowledge! It’s going to be a very busy term!
We have loved enjoying the sunshine, playing outside, creating art and we had a talent show. ☀️
We met Matthew and his falcon Beau who talked to us about birds of prey and nature. 🦅
We enjoyed time in the library choosing and reading stories 📚
