In literacy, we have been focusing on recounts this week. We read a recount as a class and then looked for nouns, verbs and adjectives. We also looked out for some of the important language used like firstly, next and finally. On Thursday, we created story maps with a partner to help us retell the recount. We have also been enjoying time in the library on Thursday mornings. Lots of us have been choosing books we can then read during class ERIC time.
In maths, we finished up our work on addition within word stories and started some work on measurement. We are looking forward to doing more on this next week.
In science, we started to explore forces. We had a lot of fun with different experiments involving the hot wheels cars!
