Weekly Highlights 😁

It’s been a busy week in nursery! I think everyone is ready for a relaxing weekend!

We had our Halloween Fun Day at the start of the week which was fantastic and towards the end of the week, we have been talking lots about Bonfire Night and how to keep ourselves safe. This also linked in with our right of the month, joining with the school, which is article 31 – the right to play and be safe.

Some key skills we developed this week were:

💙 listening skills – we enjoyed lots of stories surrounding Halloween and autumn such as ‘room on the broom’ and ‘bats’.

💙 culinary skills – we had amazing fun developing our culinary skills, using knives and forks to cut pumpkins and we also made pretend and real soup 🤤.

💙 we encouraged our imagination skills as we got dressed up in our Halloween outfits and enjoyed playing in them and creating role play experiences.
