This week we got to meet Barbara Henderson, an author. We learnt about Robbie Burns and that he worked as an exciseman, catching smugglers.
Barbara told us a story about a scooter accident and how she became a writer.
It took her 121 attempts to get her first book published.
In PE we got to choose and we played football and set up the jungle gym. It was good fun 🙂
*Reminder* Swimming will start on Monday. Please bring in your swim kits and a towel. P7L are first in the water and could come to school with their swimsuit/swimshorts on or can get changed at school.
