We have continued to work on our numeracy, focusing on addition and subtraction strategies. The class have been great at challenging themselves and challenging each other. Next week (week beginning 23rd of September) is maths week! So,we will have lots of exciting maths challenges and activities, including a challenge against other schools around Scotland on TT rockstars (an online maths game).
We have finished our geography topic where we looked at rivers/mountains in Scotland, as well as expanding this on to Europe. The pupils enjoyed using their Chromebook to research different capital cities in Europe, different mountain locations in Europe and to complete fact files about different countries.
Please remember if you have any questions to get in touch with the school and they will pass on to myself. Mr Munro
