The class have settled into the new term quickly. Last week they enjoyed a virtual learning session with the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust. They had the opportunity to ask the scientist lots of questions, as well as learn about the activities involved in carrying out research aboard a boat on the West Coast. This week both P5 classes tuned in to learn about renewables …specifically wave energy.
We have been learning about Divali in RME and colouring some Rangoli patterns.
The class wrote an imaginative recount on the animation ‘A Fox and a Mouse’ and continue to develop their knowledge of the features of a good recount.
In maths we have continued to build knowledge and understanding around adding and subtracting larger numbers.
