We have had a great few weeks in Primary 6/7! we have been practising our Christmas songs, which was very enjoyable. We performed our songs to senior citizens on Monday 9th December and we performed at Inshes Church today (Friday 13th December). Both performances were fantastic! Thank you to all who attended.
The Primary Sevens have had a few different fundraising events for their trip to Badaguish, this includes the St Andrews Day ceilidh, the community cafe at the open afternoon and the dress down day. These events were very successful, overall they raised a total of £552.
We have continued to develop our spelling by adding a variety of prefixes and suffixes to expand on our root words. The pupils enjoy being able to transfer this into our recount writing, in the new year we will be focusing on another type of writing. In maths, we have focused on time, looking at schedules has been enjoyable and has allowed the pupils to come up with creative questions for their peers to answer.
