In writing this week the class learnt about the different components which make up a mixed response piece. They then went on to write one for a meal at a restaurant. It’s great to see how motivated they are about writing for different purposes.
During reading there were opportunities to answer questions both written and oral. We will continue to encourage full responses and the skills of skimming and scanning texts for answers.
For our social studies topic we are building knowledge and understanding of events during the Reformation.
