P2 have been working super hard over the last few weeks and as a result they earned a trip to Inshes Park this afternoon. We had a brilliant time and I was very impressed with the teamwork and kindness I saw from so many of the children.
Over the last few weeks we have been learning a few different final blend sounds. These have included -st, -sp, -sk, -nk and when to use tch or ch. We have also been working hard on our response writing and learning common words such as said and they.
In maths we have been learning what it means to multiply and divide. We have used our knowledge of equal groups to help us.
On Thursday we had fun on World Book Day. We played a quiz to guess the staff member reading a story and had lots of games and activities to share our favourite books. We also enjoyed our three sessions of DEAR (drop everything and read) time throughout the day.
We have been continuing with our toys topic by learning about some outdoor games. We tried playing hopscotch and had a giant game of hide and seek outside.
