Term 4 – week 7

Monday – inservice

Art

Sometimes it’s lovely to go back to basics! This week, we provided the children with plain paper, colouring sheets, pencils, pens, and crayons—and let their creativity lead the way. Each child followed their own direction and stayed wonderfully engaged for a long time. It was also a great opportunity to practise pencil grip and fine motor skills.

Inshes Park

Gorgeous weather for our park trip this week. Lots of energetic play, sharing and turn taking went on!

Open afternoon

Our open afternoon continued with a Rights Respecting theme, showcasing our KRIB school motto which stands for Kindness, Respect, Inclusion and Being my best.

Leela helped us get organised with a very special project. Thanks to some school helpers, we have a new bench, made from scraps of wood we had lying around. We then painted it white before adding bright colours. I think you will agree that the final product looks great! ‘Benchy’ is a place you can sit if you feel lonely at lunch or break time and there will be helpers to find you a friend or a game to join in with!

Mila and Marika’s responses to their parents arriving was just precious ❤️

Lucas read our school values so well!
